Practitioner Qualifications

The International SHEN Therapy Association (ISTA), a professional organization, is registered in Seattle, Washington, USA. ISTA establishes competencies, a Practitioner Code of Ethics, and standards of practice for its members. ISTA certifies all SHEN Therapists.

To become a Certified SHEN Therapist, candidates must complete the 680+ hour Supervised Internship Program at the SHEN Therapy Institute and pass ISTA’s Certification Board.
The Supervised Internship Program includes intensive classroom training in SHEN practice, two years of mentor-supervised experience, and profound personal growth through SHEN.

The SHEN service mark is your assurance that your practitioner is fully trained and current in SHEN.
